Stopping and parking are different offences with different distances. This is where the exact figures live, and the test asks which figure belongs to which place.
Stopping is stricter than parking
Parking is leaving a vehicle standing. Stopping includes pausing for a moment to let somebody out. Every place you may not stop is also a place you may not park; the reverse is not true.
So when a question gives you a no-stopping place, pausing to drop a passenger is already the offence. You do not have to leave the vehicle to commit it.
