Braking and steering share one budget
A tyre has a fixed amount of grip, and braking, steering and accelerating all spend from it. Ask for hard braking and hard steering at the same moment and the one that gives way is the steering.
That is why every sign in this module means the same thing in practice: get the speed off while you are still going straight. A driver who arrives at the right speed has the whole grip budget available for turning.
