Signs that help rather than instruct. Getting them wrong is rarely dangerous, which is exactly why people skip them and lose easy marks.
Colour tells you the job
Blue and white rectangles inform. A white P on blue marks a place where parking is permitted — it is not an instruction to park, and it is not a promise of a free space.
Because these signs carry no obligation, candidates skim them. The test knows that, and the signs section is 30 of the 68 marks.
